Show Church News At the Sunday School Union meeting meet-ing Sunday afternoon a special Christmas program was given. Superintendent Su-perintendent Ernest Clayton presided. pre-sided. The program included sacred music by Norma Hales, "Luther's Cradle Song" by the congregation and prayer by Jesse Walker. President Warnick released Roy Merrill from the board because of his new duties in the bishopric. The vacancy has not yet been filled. Mrs. Lucy G. Sperry of the Sunday Sun-day School General board spoke on the Life of Christ and His Influence Upon Mankind. George W. Larsen introduced Fred Barker of the University Uni-versity of Utah, writer of the Book of Mormon lessons. Mr. Sperry. superintendent su-perintendent of the Highland Sunday Sun-day school, gave an interesting talk, after which department work followed. fol-lowed. All ward children of Primary age were entertained at the Third ward amusement hall Tuesday afternoon. They enjoyed a real Christmas party of singing and games. Santa Claus made his visit and left a bag of goodies for every child. All wards will meet their bishoprics bishop-rics during the week for annual tithing settlement. Manila ward Monday, December 27, Bishop's room. 4 L. II. Walker will speak in the Lindon ward sacrament meeting Sunday evening. At the Windsor ward services Sunday Sun-day night, the stake missionaries will have charge of the meeting. Clyde C. Crookston of American Fork will be the speaker at the First ward Sunday evening.
