Show o Kindergarten Work Started An exceptionally large number of boys and girls enrolled in the kindergarten kin-dergarten classes in Lehi, American Fork and Pleasant Grove at the opening of school Monday. The enrollment en-rollment is as follows: Lehi, 60; American Fork, 89, and Pleasant Grove 30. The kindergarten class work will continue for six weeks during which time the 'aim is to assist the children chil-dren in development of social quali-tites quali-tites and habits, elimination of behavior be-havior maladjustments, development develop-ment of esthetic appreciation of art, rhythm, story, etc. This training will assist the child in making better bet-ter adjustment in meeting the First grade work. The teachers in each of the schools are kindergarten trained and are as follows: Lehi, Phyllis Kirk-ham Kirk-ham and Hortense Morby; American Pork, Florence Dunyon and Alice Parker; and Pleasant Grove, Lois Greenwood. The work is under the direction of the Board of Education with Mrs. Mable Nelson as supervisor. |
