Show (Taken from files of April 24, 1926) Edward T. Culmer, well known resident of Pleasant Grove passed to his reward while ini a Richfield hotel early Sunday morning. Mr. Culmer and Mr. Wood were on a business trip for the Glen Bros, and Roberts Music Co. of Ogden. Death was due to a heart attack. Ten Years Ago Now During the past week the Hed-qulst Hed-qulst Drug Co. has installed a new Nizcn iceless soda fountain. This is one of the finest and most complete fountains in use today. They have also remodeled their show windows adding more space and light to the interior of the store. Ten Years Ago Now Annual "G" day will be observed by the students of the loacl high school next Wednesday. The senior boys will make the trip to the "G" and give it a whitewash, the Juniors will clean up the school grounds while the sophomores and freshmen will aid in clean-up day at the Ball park. Ten Years Ago Now Our annual Ball Park day will be held April 28, to get the park in shape for Alpine School Division track meet on the 30th and later for our annual Strawberry day. The Chamber of Commerce is leading out in this public enterprise and will appreciate the aid of every man in the city. Ten Years Ago Now The family of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Halliday Sr., pleasantly surprised them on Mr. Halliday's 76th birthday birth-day the 21st of this month. Attending At-tending were seven children, twenty grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. |
