Show Scout Week ProgramDrafted The Boy Scout committee of the Alpine District of the Timpanogos Council met Wednesday night in the Tithing Office to formulate plans for the observance in this district of the 24th anniversary of the founding of this movement. The anniversary week opens February 8, and ends on the 14th. A schedule for the week's activities activ-ities was drafted and follows: Thursday, February 8 Scouts will meet in their ward for Recommittal of Oath. In some wards a banquet j is being prepared for them. I Saturday, February 10 All scouts J will mset at the High School at i 3:30 a- m. for a program. At 10 o'clock the President of the United States will talk to the boys, making an assignment to national service. After the President's program the scouts are going to enjoy competitive competi-tive games in the High School Gym. Charles B. Walker will be in charge of the boys. Sunday, February 11 A Scout program will be held in each of the wards on Sunday night. Monday, February 12 All Scout masters, scouters and scouts are urged to be at the city hall at 8 a. m. for a flag exercise. A Boy Scout and Lincoln day program will be held in the High School assembly hall at 11:15 to 12. All scouts are invited. Tuesday, February 13 This will be Troop Good Turn Day. Each troop is urged to do a civic good turn. The Boy Scouts will furnish the program in their various wards at M. I. A. meetings. o |
