Show Stake M. I. A. Will Present Road Show The Timpanogos stake M. I. A. will present a road show Tuesday evening, January 30th, in all of the wards of the stake. The plays will begin at 7:30 in every ward. Six, one-act plays will be presented as follows: Manila ward, "Unfurled Banners"; Lindon, ! "A Wand for Cinderella"; Windsor, !"An Old Fashioned Garden"; Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove First ward, "The Spinning Spin-ning Wheel"; Second ward, "Souvenirs"; "Souven-irs"; Third ward, "The Melting Pot." Each ward will present their 'play in all of the six wards, the last time in their own ward. There will be intermission between be-tween the acts due to the jumps, which are unavoidable. Each ward will have extra program numbers between the acts. Each act will be scored by six people who will submit their scores from which a recapitulation will be made and sent to each ward. The adjudicators for the plays will be: Lindon, Ar villa Clark; Windsor, E. R. West; Third, Viola West; Second, Edith Anderson; First, Boyd Nelson; Manila, A. P. Warnick. The points that will be used in scoring the plays in this final rendition ren-dition are: Theme, selection of theme, 20 per cent; Development, how the theme is developed, 20 per cent; Stage: lighting, costuming, setting, etc., 20 per cent; Entertainment: Entertain-ment: Interest maintained, 20 per cent; What is the final impression on the audience, 20 per cent. Each ward has been working for some time to make the rendition of their play as nearly perfect as is possible. The public is assured a real entertainment. |
