Show Many Former Residents Here on Memorial Day It would be impossible to record all the people from out of the city who came here for Memorial Day. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Meredith and Miss Ruth Chipman were among the guests at an announcement party par-ty given by Miss Loree Van Wagoner Wag-oner at her home in Provo last Saturday Sat-urday evening. Mrs. Leona D. Miner, 19, of Provo, Pro-vo, who died following the auto accident ac-cident Saturday night near the Provo Pro-vo River bridge on the lower road, is a sister of Mrs. Josephine Faddis of this city. The eightieth birthday anniversary of Parley Austin Sunday was the motif for a family gathering and dinner at the Austin home, during the afternoon and evening. Covers for dinner were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Austin, Mr. and Mrs. Lige Chipman and family of American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Larsen of Vineyard; Messrs. and Mesdames James A. Brown, John N. Austin, Clifford Austin, Herbert Austin and Hyrum Gray and Mr. William F. Austin, all of Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Austin of Provo joined the party in the evening. Mrs. Thomas Coddington, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Coddington. were business bus-iness visitors in Salt Lake Friday. John H. Miller and daughters, Rowena and Verda, were visitors Wednesday in Salt Lake City. The stork visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Greening last Friday and left a winsome baby daughter. Mother and babe are doing do-ing nicely. Mrs. George Earl and family of Copperton, returned home Sunday after a week's visit here with Mrs. Earl's mother, Mrs. W. A. Robinson and daughter, Miss Bessie Robinson. Robin-son. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Halliday visited visit-ed here last week with Mr. and Mrs. Byron Crookston. They left for Shelley, Idaho, to reside, Mr. Halliday Halli-day having been appointed superintendent superin-tendent of the sugitir factory of that place. They have been living in Sugar City. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Firmage and son, William, of Long Beach, California, Cali-fornia, have been guests of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. William Firmage Fir-mage for the past week. Mr. Firmage Fir-mage has sold hts business in California Cali-fornia and is locating in Hearer, where he has taken over his business bus-iness property there.
