Show Former Resident Dies In Virginia Orson N. Kelly, 51, native of this city, died in Harrisburg, West Virginia, Vir-ginia, last Friday, following an accident, ac-cident, the details of which have not yet been received here. Orson Nicholas Kelly was bom in American Fork, October 6, 1882, a son of Major William and Elizabeth niinnintrhfl.m Kellv. His father was prominent in the Mormon Battalion. Battal-ion. He graduated from the Brig-1 ham Young University, attended the University of Utah and took post-graduate work at the University ty of Chicago, where he studied' journalism. He was principal of the ' I Grantsville and later the Mam- moth high schools for several years-He years-He married Emma Woodruff Beebe . 16 years ago. They have no children. child-ren. Mr. Kelly has resided in the east for the past nine years and for two years has been employed in West Virginia by the U. S. government-He government-He also served as secretary for the Home of the Deaf in Washington, D. V. Mr. Kelly is survived by his wid- ow, two brothers, George Kelly, Ogden; Og-den; E. M. Kelly, Salt Lake, a sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Olive Taylor of Ogden; three half brothers, Dr. P- M- Kelly, j St- Anthony, Idaho; James Walter Kelly, Wesier, Idaho; Alva Kelly, American Fork, and three half sis-: tters, Mrs. Eleanor Nicholes, American Ameri-can Fork; Mrs- Nora Stubbs, Gunnison, Gun-nison, and Mrs. Annie K. Thornton, Thorn-ton, Payette, Idaho. |
