Show Rally For ' Republicans The young Republicans of this city wiU hold a big rally Friday evening, eve-ning, October 5, at 8 o'clock at the city hall. A special mvnauun io extended to the young ladies of American Fork as well as the young men and women of Alpine, Pleasant Grove and Lehi to be present. The program will include short talks by jaren L. Jones, secretary of the Young Republican League of Utah, and Ivy Baker, president of the Young Ladies Republican Club of Salt Lake county, both of Salt Lake City, together with musical numbers. The 'speakers will deal with the activities ac-tivities of the Young Republican State convention and the Inter-mountain-Pacific Young Republican ! convention which were held last I -ck. !,!,, Qni-iirrlTiv in Salt Lake City. They will also take up several other matters of interest to local people. A group of Young Republicans of American Fork, headed by Norman B Wing and DeVere Wootton, attended at-tended the state Young Republicans convention Friday and the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Pacific Young Republican convention Saturday in Salt Lake City. DeVere Wootton of American Fork was elected vice-president of the Young Republican league of Utah at the convention Friday. The group were addressed by John D.
