Show District Court Upholds Emergency Emergen-cy Revenue Act District Judge Martin M. Larson upheld the constitutionality of the emergency revenue act of 1933 Saturday when he overruled a demurrer de-murrer made by Lehi city to the suit filed by the state tax commission commis-sion seeking judgement of $280.08 allegedly due as principal, interest and penalties on the delinquent 2 per cent sales tax for service purchased pur-chased from the city's municipal power plant. The city was given 15 days after notice to answer. The demurrer was made on grounds that the emergency revenue aw ui 1933 is in contravention of the state constitution. o |
