Show Willard Clarke of Los Angeles, California, visited Sunday with , his mother, Mrs. James H. Clarke, and other relatives here. He is in Utah for the Utah Woolen Mills convention, conven-tion, at Logan. The Gleaner Girls of the First ward held their Comradery Tuesday Tues-day of last week, at the home of Mildred Greenwood. Beth Ellison, Gleaner president; Miss Greenwood, 1 assistant leader, and Margaret j Dunkley and Lois Shafter were the I hostesses. Games were played and a dainty lunch was served to the 14 attending. On Tuesday evening of this week, the group met at the home jDf Mrs. Leo G. Meredith, class leader. Gleaner books of past years were exhibited, and the girls started on their treasures of truth books. A lunch was served to the ten attending. o |
