Show 'Funeral Service For Mrs. Kitchen Held In Manila Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Frances Nichter Kitchen, 88, were conducted Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Manila ward chapel by Bishop H. V. Swenson. Mrs. Kitchen died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. P. Werner, of ailments incident to age. She was born in Buckingham county, Virginia, on November 8, 1850, a daughter of Gillis and Elizabeth Eliza-beth Goldbocken Nichter. She was married to John A. Kitchen on June 9, 1874, and they came to Utah in 1904, settling at Junction, where they lived until 1907, when the family moved to Manila. Mrs. Kitchen Kitch-en had lived at the home of her daughter for several years. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: S. W. and T. L. Kitchen of Orem, L. R. Kitchen and Mrs. Werner of American Fork, J. L. Kitchen of Tridell, Mrs. C. L. Riding, Mrs. R. B. Davis and Mi's. William B. Davis of Provo; 62 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mary P. Coleman of Lynchburg, Virginia. Interment was in the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park, directed by Anderson Brothers mortuary. o |
