Fugal Sunday. Mrs. Ben Blanc is spending several seve-ral days at the home of her mother, Mrs. Neils Swenson, who has been confined to her bed the past three weeks. Miss Ruth Fage, a nurse at the L. D. S. hospital, spent Sunday with her mother, Mary B. Fage, and other relatives. Mrs. Ethel Drysdale spent Mother's Moth-er's Day at Payson with her mother, Mrs. John Butler. Mr. and Mrs. Reed W. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Banks and Mrs. Eliza Banks were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Junius Banks at Lehi on Mother's Day. . Mrs. Adeline Nelson and grandchildren, grand-children, Elizabeth and Bill Told, were Salt Lake visitors Sunday. Mrs. Adeline Nelson and grandson, Bill Told, spent Monday and Tuesday Tues-day at Delta the guests of Mr. and Mrs. John- E. Nelson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ames of Salt Lake City were guests Sunday of Mrs. Martha Canham. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Theobald were Salt Lake visitors Tuesday. They called on Avelyn Richards who has recently been removed from the L. D. S. hospital to the home of his brother, Morel Richards. Mrs. J. P. . Fugal attended the dance revue at the B. Y. TJ. .in which Miss Genevieve Fugal participated in on Thursday and Friday. The Second ward Primary officers and teachers held a meeting last Friday evening at the home of Mrs. H. C. Robertson. J Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Halliday, who have spent the past month, in Ogden Og-den and Salt Lake, spent Mothers Day here at the home of then-daughter then-daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Jacobs. Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Moore and family, who have spent the past winter at Fillmore, where Mr. Moore has been doing seminary work, returned re-turned home Friday and will spend the summer here. Word has been received of the birth of twin girls to Wanda Hol-man Hol-man Naylor, at Sandy. Mrs. Naylor and Vera Holman are twin sisters. There are three daughters now in the Naylor family. Mrs. Naylor is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Holman of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Leo R. Walker and family of Garland, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sjoberg and family and Miss Ilah Thorne of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thome and family of this city, were guests of their mother, Mrs. Regina Thorne, on Mother's Day. Miss Genevieve Fugal was chairman chair-man of the Les Ceciliane Social unit of the B. Y. U. formal dancing party last Saturday night at the McCune School of Music at Salt Lake City. About twenty-six. couples participated participat-ed in the evening's entertainment. Miss Lucille Harmon of American Fork and Roy Olpin of Pleasant Grove, and Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Fugal were the guests of Miss Fugal. A very delightful evening was reported. The members of a primary class of the Second ward held a social Monday Mon-day night at the home of Miss Beth Drysdale. Their special guests of honor were Mrs. Vienna Clark, Mrs. Rhoda Clark and Mrs. Bertha Gray. The evening was spent in miscellaneous miscellan-eous parlor games and social chat. Refreshments were served. The following fol-lowing girls are responsible for the social, Beth Drysdale, Orpha Conway, Con-way, Ilah Hardman, LaRue Nelson, Dorothy Rushton, Mary Jacobs and Thelma Boren. I Mr. and Mrs. Mahoney of Salt Lake made a pleasant call at the ihome of Mrs. J. P. Fugal Friday. ' Mrs. Mahoney is secretary of the .Salt Lake Flower Club. Anton Gleason, who has been j laboring as a missionary in the Texas Mission, returned home the last" bf the Week' and was the principal prin-cipal speaker at the Second ward Sunday evening. Mrs. Laura Keetch and daughter, Mamie, Mrs. Idella Walker and daughter, Thelma, attended the Sharon stake M. I. A. final contest last Friday evening at the Lincoln High School. Mr. Wayne Eldredge who spent the past winter with his sister, Mrs. Merrill Wamick and family, and attended high school here is in the L. D. S. hospital at Salt Lake reco r-ering r-ering from an operation for appendicitis, appen-dicitis, Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Nelson of Tooele, Utah, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Nels Swenson. They all motored to Provo and visited with Miss Louise Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Nels-n, who is a student of the B. Y. U. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Fugal and family fami-ly attended the closing exercises at the Dixon Jr. High at Provo Thursday Thurs-day night. Alfred Swenson, music instructor, is receiving congratulations congratula-tions for the fine type of music rendered by his various music groups during the evening and throughout the entire year. A house warming social was given last Friday night in honor of Mrs. Ethel Drysdale who has moved to a new location. The evening was spent in games and social chat. A picnic luncheon was enjoyed by the following guests: Mrs. Kate Jacobs, Mrs. Lela Banks, Mrs. Maud Richards, Rich-ards, Mrs. Pearl Wadley, Mrs. Merle Coombs, Mrs. J. R. Halliday and Mrs. James D. Thorne. The Misses Ethel Smith, Lois Smith, Gene Smith and Edna Weeks entertained at a shower Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Smith, in honor of Mrs. Afton Beck Walker, a recent bride. The evening was spent in games and social chat. Delicious refreshments were served. Many useful and beautiful gifts were received. The guest list included Mrs. Nan Wright, Mrs. Ruby Brown, Mrs. Vern Beck. Mrs. Hazel Shelley, Mrs. Ida West, Miss Sarah Shelley, Miss Bernice Wilde. Miss Grace Walker and Mrs. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel West enjoyed a reunion at the West home on Mothers Day. The afternoon was spent in visiting. A picnic luncheon was served at 6 p. m.
