Show Funeral Services For Mrs. Anna C. Ellis Funeral services were held in the stake tabernacle Sunday at if.oO p. m. over the remains of Mrs. Anna C. Ellis, wife of William T. Ellis. Bishop Frank D. Atw;cd conducted the services. A quartette, composed of Leone Told, Ethel West, Clarence Hilton rnd Niels Fugal sang, "Sometime, Somewhere." The invocation was offered by Joseph S. Walker. A violin vio-lin selection was then rendered by Mrs. Elva Clark, uccompanied by Miss Elda Neves. , The speakers were James D. ' Th :rne, neighbor of the Ellis family, W. L. Hayes, Niels Fugal and closing remarks by Bishop F. D. Atwood. A biographical sketch was read by Mrs. Luiena Johnson. Other musical numbers were a duet "Face to Face", by Mrs. Leone Told and Mrs. Reva Fugal and .a solo by Roy Fage. The benediction was given by J. S. Holdaway. Interment Inter-ment was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery where the grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Edmund Cragun. Anna C. Ellis, 64, died at her home at 1:30 a. m. Thursday, May 11th, following an illness of three months duration of high blood pressure and complications. She was an ardent church worker. She labored as president of the Primary Association of the Third ward for seven years. At the time of her death she was a teacher in the Relief Society, which position she had held for a number of years. She was first lieutenant in Camp 3 of the Daughters Daugh-ters of the Pioneers. She was a devoted wife and mother moth-er of nine children, five of whom survive as follows: Mrs. Violet War-burton, War-burton, Delbert and Martelle of Pleasant Grove; Reuben A. of Ogden, Og-den, and Wayne of Idaho Falls; eight grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. great-grandchild. .Her husband and the following brothers and sisters also survive: William Christiansen, Vineyard; Vine-yard; Alma, Owen and Martin, Mrs. Josephine Bezzant, Mrs. Ida Williamson Will-iamson and Mrs. Perlinda Radmall all of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Walter Darling of Spanish Fork, and Mrs. Alphena Mark of Orem. |
