He was born Dec. 1. 1912 in Nampa. Idaho to Duke and Carrie Overton. He married Lillian F. Wilde May 10, 1952 in American Fork. He attended University of Idaho. He retired in 1982 following :S0 years in the lumber business. He was a purchasing agent for p;,nv. He was active in ma'nv functions associated with his profession. He is survived by his wile of Salt Lake City, one sister, Mrs. Clarence ( Lorraine i lmberg. Caldwell. Idaho. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 1, at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary. He was born Dec. 16, 19(15 in American Fork, the son of David Edward Ed-ward and Charlotte Dansie Shelley. He was a graduate of BYU. He taught school in Park City and Randolph. He was also a farmer. He was active in the LDS Church and was a former High Priest group leader. Services were held Saturday, April 1, in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, American Fork. He was born Sept. 12, 1922 in American Fork, the son of James Henry and Blanche Crandall Tattersall. He married Myrle Brinton Aug. 7, 1959. He farmed and drove truck for Savage Bros. Trucking. He was a member of the American Fork 27th Ward. He was a home teacher. He was active in Republican politics. He was a friend to everyone. He is survived by his wife of American Fork; two sons and one daughter: Robert Wood, Salt Lake City; James Tattersall, Tempe. Ariz.; Laurie Wood, Orem; seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, March :!(), in the Anderson An-derson & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Burial was in the American Fork Cemetery. He is survived by three sisters and one brother: Rose Andrews, Sabra Y. Barney Arvilla B. Beck Sabra L. Schaugaard Young Barney, 85, of Pleasant Grove died April 3, 1989 in Provo. She was born on May 26, 1903 in Koos-harem, Koos-harem, Utah to George L. and Mary Hatch Schaugaard. She married mar-ried Lacy Eugene Young on June 1, 1922. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Aug. 18, 1939. She married Lewellyn Barney Bar-ney on March 7, 1941 in Nephi. He died on May 9, 1967. She was a member of the LDS Church living liv-ing in the Pleasant Grove Second Ward where she had served for many years as a Relief Society Visiting Teacher. She lived in Payson for 30 years and has lived the past 35 years in Pleasant Grove. She is survived by four sons and three daughters: Mrs. Donal (Fay) Jasperson, Payson; Mrs. Albert (Berniece) Warren, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Fred (Betty) Jackson, Bountiful; Milo E. Young, Salt Lake City; Wayne L. Young, Phoenix, Phoe-nix, Arizona; Stephen H. Barney, Upland, California; Max L. Barney, Bar-ney, Salt Lake City; 33 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; grand-children; three brothers: broth-ers: Bertram Schaugaard, Salt Lake City; Marcus Grant Schaugaard, Provo; and Joseph Lee Schaugaard, Orem. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Second Ward, 8900 N. 100 West. Friends may call at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove, on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. or Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery. Arvilla Baxter Beck, ttr, Orem, died March 211, 1989 in Alpine of causes incident to age. She was born Dec. 19, 19(i:i in Lindon to John Kelly and Elizabeth Morton Baxter. She married Harmon Lerve Beck Feb. 26, 1930 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Sept. 27, 1986. She was an active member of the LDS Church, taking part in Relief Society visiting teaching, Primary and Sunday School. She was a member of the Orem Timpview 12th Ward. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. In her youth she worked as a practical nurse and a housekeeper in the home of President Heber J. Grant. She loved all who came in contact with her and i.Jack) Baxter. Funeral services were under the direction direc-tion of Bishop Hal Stock of the Orem Timpview First Ward. The family prayer was given by Kent Allen Al-len aand Laura Clement Clem-ent played the prelude and postlude. The invocation was by Scott Beck and Elizabeth Beck gave the life sketch. Pam Allen sang "You're Not Alone," accompanied by Alice Myers. Jeff Beck was a speaker. The grandchildren grand-children sang "I Often Go Walking," accompanied accompa-nied by Alice Myers. A speaker was Bishop Jack W. Taylor. Remarks were given by Bishop Hal Stock. Kelly Beck gave the benediction and the grave at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery was dedicated by Clive Beck. was especially kind and caring to her grandchildren. grand-children.
