The couple will exchange vows in Pleasant Grove on April 7. The ceremony will be officiated by Bishop Stan Smith. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds will be honored at a reception at the Pleasant Grove 10th Ward, 500 N. 700 East. Maid of honor will be Jennie Greene, with Jackie Remund, Angie Remund, Mindy Adamson, Heather Adamson and Amber Lindquest as bridesmaids. Brandi K. The bride-to-b- is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Aland of Pleasant Grove. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Jay Young of Pleasant Grove and the late Wilford J. Wulfenstein. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 7 to 9 at the Timpanogos Stake Center, 600 N. 100 West, Pleasant Grove. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. She is well known for her involvement in music groups for many years in the Orem-Prov- o area, including Florence Madsen's Singing Mothers and as lead so-prano in several musicals. Mr. and Mrs. Verl W. Kofford of American Fork will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary this week. An open house will honor them Saturday, April 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the American Fork 25th Ward Building, 445 E. 300 North, American Fork. The event is open to all friends and relatives. They request no gifts. Verl and Helen were married April 3, 1939, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Verl was born in Provo, Utah, attended schools in Orem. For many years he owned and operated Verl's Sinclair Service on 4th North and State Street in Orem. In 1963, they moved to Kanab where they owned and operated the Sun and Sand Motel until their retirement. Verl enjoys gardening and his grandchildren. Helen was born in Tropic, Utah. Lunceford and Trudy Nycole Anderson have chosen to exchange vows Friday, April 7. The bride-to-b- e is the daughter of James L. Anderson of Murray, formerly of American Fork, and Jay and Penny Healey of Lindon. The prospective groom is the son of Kathleen Lunceford of Midvale and Mr. and Mrs. K.C. Lunceford of Provo. A reception will honor the couple on April 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. It will be held at the Lindon 5th Ward Chapel, 582 W. 100 South. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Trudy graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and attended Utah Valley Community College. She is a sergeant in the Utah Army National Guard, where she has been active for three and one-ha- lf years. Curt graduated from Hillcrest High School and is presently at-tending Utah Valley Community College. He is a member of the Utah Army National Guard and has been j active for two and one-ha- lf years. The couple recently returned from an Army exercise in South Korea, Team Spirit 1989. Open house to honor couple on Golden Anniversary day Lawrence & Marie Jonsson The family of Lawrence and Marie Jonsson are pleased to honor their parents with an open house for their 50th wedding anniversary. The special celebration will take place April 8 at the Bungalow, 235 S. 100 West, Pleasant Grove, from 3 to 5 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to share this eventful day with them. Lawrence was born in Mildstedt, Germany and immigrated " to America when only 13 years of age. His family settled in Highland, where they had a successful chicken ranch and farm. ' Marie was born in Lehi and spent her early childhood in Ophir. She ' returned to Lehi where she finished ;.! her schooling. I Lawrence and Marie were married in Salt Lake City Feb. 24, 1939 and moved to their farm in Highland, where they have lived ever since. They worked hard to establish a home and a business. The farm prospered as they worked and a suc-cessful turkey business was developed. Turkey raising was their livelihood for 28 years. Cattle, alfalfa and grain were also , produced. Lawrence still has a small herd of cattle that he keeps his eye on. Marie and Lawrence built a home for their four children - Joan Russon of Lehi; Kathy Baum of Highland; Jon, Highland and Tom, Lehi. They developed strong work ethics and moral standards for their family. They have seen the growth of their family which now includes spouses of their children, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandso- |
