Show r : j . i i i Pleasant Grove Junior High PTSA officers for next year include, L-R, Cindy Locksmith, Raylene Wright, President Verlene West, Evelyn Albrecht and Robin Steed. P.G. Jr. High PTA officers installed By KAI.YN SRCRETAN The PTA Officers at Pleasant Grove Junior High were installed recently at the home of Verlene West. Council President Carolyn Smith conducted the ceremony. The new officers are: Verlene West, president; Roylene Weight, president-elect; Cindy Locksmith, secretary; Evelyn Albrecht, treasurer; legislative vice-president and Mr. Kent Rowley, principal vice-president. Out-going president, Pat Huntsman, Hunt-sman, was honored and Mr. Rowley expressed appreciation to the board for all their help during the past year. Thank you gifts were given to last year's officers. Carolyn Smith expressed a p-; preciation to Pat Huntsman and the work she accomplished during the year. She mentioned the theme, "I'm Talking, Are You Listening?" Do we take the time to listen to our young people. Carolyn came up with the theme last year when one of her children asked her the question. Carolyn reported the Region PTA President mentioned that she never worries about PTA in Pleasant Grove. They always have such good boards and officers are anxious to stay in and help. Keeping with an Easter theme, Carolyn brought a little tree representing the PTA and she placed decorated eggs from the branches. Each egg was a PTA attribute, as eggstraordinary leaders we eggstend outselves;: talents, learn to be eggsperts eggscel, (get better and belie have eggcellent people on c boards, eggspand ourselves in areas, learn to be eggsact.anie eggsamples to the community. The group enjoyed a salad E potato bar and celebrated with; decorated cake. Others assisting next year's i ficers will be Christine Donalds Reflections; Yolinda Hi: membership; Tammra Salista-publicity; Salista-publicity; and Gaylene Cart; Community Involvement.
