The bride-to-b- e is the daughter of Bob and Lorna Fotheringham, Lindon. The prospective groom is the son of Jim and Bonnie Shelton, American Fork. The newlyweds will be honored at a reception that same evening at the home of the bride's parents, 165 E. 4O0 North, Lindon. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Attending the bride will be her sister, Sherry Jensen, Julie Fotheringham, Debbie Anderson, Kelli Shelton and Brandi Jensen. Best man duties will be per formed by Tony Gurney, Barry Shelton and Kelly Fotheringham, with Roy Jensen and Danny An-derson serving as ushers. Pre-nupti- showers for the bride were hosted by Sherry Jensen and Julie Fotheringham, Debbie An-derson and Kelli Shelton. The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and Hollywood Beauty College. She is working at Utah Soft Copy. The prospective groom is a graduate of American Fork High School. He is working at Humphries Welding, Inc. The couple will make their first home in American Fork. Laurie Fotheringham Russ Shelton Rick Mayo to claim Jully Fredrickson as bride Fri. Fredrickson, American Fork, are pleased to announce the for-thcoming marriage of their daughter, Jully, to Rick Mayo, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Garry Mayo, Pleasant Grove. The couple will exchange vows Friday, July 8, in American Fork. The newlyweds will be honored at a reception that same date from 7 to 9 p.m. at the bride's home, 290 N. Parker Avenue, American Fork. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Serving as maid of honor will be Charisse Vanderwell. Emily Fredrickson will be bridesmaid. Best man duties will be per- - formed by Vallen Blackburn. Special guests will include grandmother of the bride, Mrs. Elaine Fredrickson, and grand-mothers of the groom, Mrs. Frenna Mayo and Mrs. Alta Lillywhite. The couple will make their first home in Orem. Jr. High PTA officers installed By KAI.YN SRCRETAN The PTA Officers at Pleasant Grove Junior High were installed recently at the home of Verlene West. Council President Carolyn Smith conducted the ceremony. The new officers are: Verlene West, president; Roylene Weight, president-elect- ; Cindy Locksmith, secretary; Evelyn Albrecht, treasurer; legislative and Mr. Kent Rowley, principal t. Out-goin- g president, Pat Hunt-sman, was honored and Mr. Rowley expressed appreciation to the board for all their help during the past year. Thank you gifts were given to last year's officers. Carolyn Smith expressed a p- -; preciation to Pat Huntsman and the work she accomplished during the year. She mentioned the theme, "I'm Talking, Are You Listening?" Do we take the time to listen to our young people. Carolyn came up with the theme last year when one of her children asked her the question. Carolyn reported the Region PTA President mentioned that she never worries about PTA in Pleasant Grove. They always have such good boards and officers are anxious to stay in and help. Keeping with an Easter theme, Carolyn brought a little tree representing the PTA and she placed decorated eggs from the branches. The group enjoyed a salad E potato bar and celebrated with; decorated cake. Region president Rose Mary Lindberg conducted the ceremony, naming Vickie Young as president-- ; elect. Other officers included Eva Ercanbrack, Pam Cluff, Carolyn Smith and Carolyn Jacob. Rose Mary told the officers to be proud of their accomplishmenls in the PTA.
