Show Open house to honor Smiths on golden wedding anniversary -A - - fix ' I V Mr. and Mrs. Milton C Smith of Orem are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on .June I. 1HKK. Their children will be honoring them at an open house Saturday, June 4, and invite friends and family to attend. The open house will be held at the Windsor 4th Ward, HV74 N. 200 West, orem, between t and 8 p.m. They request no gifts, please. Mr. Smith worked for Geneva Works of U.S. Steel for :5f years before retiring in 1979. He served in the bishopric of the Orem 6th Ward 10 years, seven of them as bishop. He served several years as historical clerk of the Orem Win dsor Stake. Mrs. Smith has served in ward Primary and Relief Society presidencies, as a Primary teacher, as stake Primary secretary and in other positions in church auxiliaries. Mr. and Mrs. Smith have been serving as ordinance workers in the Provo Temple1 for the past five years. They are the parents of Duane N. Smith, West Valley City; LeAnne West, Bountiful; Patricia Smith, Midvale; Scott Smith, Magna; and Kelly Smith, Green River, Wyoming. They have 14 grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. MiitwsJ |
