Show Man arrested on marijuana offense Pleasant Grove Detectives arrested a 19-year-old male last week when they went to his home to serve a bench warrant from Provo and found marijuana in his residence. The officers said that they confiscated con-fiscated a very healthy marijuana plant worth about $60 and two ounces of marijuana valued at about 3200. The man was charged with possession of marijuana. Officers said that they also found some drug paraphernalia and some alcohol in the home. Officers also believe they have solved a series of beer thefts with the arrest of two male adults and one male juvenile in Lehi. With the cooperation of the Lehi Police Dept. and surveillance the officers arrested the three in a Lehi home. l'he adults were charged on two counts of theft in connection with the theft of 32 cases of beer in November and 72 cases of beer about two weeks later, both from a truck parked in the Industrial Park , in Pleasant Grove. The beer was valued at over $1,000. The juvenile was released to his parents care. The adults were out of jail on their own recognizance. They were to be arraigned Tuesday in American Fork Circuit Court on the charges. Officers investigated a burglary at the Alpine School District Maintenance Main-tenance Sheds in Lindon. Max Thorne told the officers that someone had broken into some of the lockers and money had been taken. Three computers from the electronics elec-tronics shop were found by a fence on the southwest side of the compound. com-pound. The officers believe that the suspects were probably scared off at that point. The total value of the money taken and the computers was set at $883. Two 17-year-old males were referred to Juvenile Court in connection con-nection with the burglary. Three cars were involved in an accident on Jan. 6 at 1100 N. 100 East in Pleasant Grove. According to Officer Cody Cullimore, a car driven by Alan K. Adamson, Pleasant Grove, was northbound on 100 East and attempted a left hand turn onto " 1100 North. The driver said he did not see a car driven by Carole McGlaughlin, Alpine, and the two cars collided. The Adamson vehicle then spun into a car waiting at the stop sign driven by Michael S. Christensen, Pleasant Grove. There were no injuries. Damage to the Adamson car was listed at $3,000. There was $4,000 damage to the McGlaughlin auto, and there was $500 damage to the Christensen vehicle. |
