Show Cross-country races slated for Saturday 'The' 1986-.-h.-TAC -cross-country championships for Utah will be held Satuday, Nov. 8, in the Orem City Park, 100 N. 250 East, from 9 a.m. to noon, with races held for five different dif-ferent age groups. The event is sponsored by the Orem Track Club and the TAC, and is open to runners ages 10 to 18. There is a $2 entry fee. The meet will include the following limes, age divisions and distances: --9 a.m., Bantam (born 1976 or later), 3 kilometer. --9:30 a.m., Midget (born 1974-75), 3 kilometer. --10:15 a.m., Youth (1972-1973), 4 kilometer. -11 a.m., Intermediate, (1970-1971), (1970-1971), 5 kilometer. --Noon, Young men and women, (1968-69), 5 kilometer. Boys and girls will run together, but will be awarded places separately. Medals will be given to the top three in each age group. Ribbons will be given to places 4 through 25. The meet is open to anyone meeting the age requirements. |
