Show Elysium Club donates funds to library The Elysium Club, a local women's community service club that has been serving Pleasant Grove for the past 37 years, has once again contributed to the Pleasant Grove Library. The library has been one of their favorite recipients for years. The club has also donated money for the rescusitation equipment at the swimming pool, books for the high school library, play equipment for the local parks and the community bus. They have also sponsored girls staters, ran the Strawberry stand, been in charge of Strawberry Days Queen Pageant and assisted with the annual Walk-a-Thon. This year the club sold pies and solicited donations for their project and were able to contribute $815.00 to the library fund. They wish to thank all . those who have supported them in their community service endeavors. Thanks also to Janet Mills and Judy Schow who served on the committee. |
