Show Police report Intermountain Craft, 43 So. Main, Pleasant Grove, reported that an 8 foot by 4 foot display case valued at $500 had been taken. The owners said they had moved the case to the alleyway to make room inside the store for children to have their pictures taken with Santa Claus. When they went to bring the case back in it was gone. There are no suspects. Wes Walker, 990 E. 500 North, Pleasant Grove, told police that a set of motor grader chains, three sets of truck chains, miscellaneous pieces, and two fire extinguishers had been taken. Value of the items was set at $700. He said the theft occurred in July. It was reported on Dec. 12. Officer Mike Blackhurst reports that they do have suspects in the theft. Keven Wilson told police that a Craftsman Tool Chest with a variety of tools was taken from his place of business. The value of the items was estimated at between $200 and $250. Officer Jeff Wilson reports he does have a suspect. Intermountain Craft, 43 S. Main, Pleasant Grove, said that someone had taken a homemade Cabbage Patch doll valued at $39.60 from the store. Officer Wilson is investigating. The incident occurred on Dec. 14. Powder River Enterprises, Provo, said that a flatbed semi-trailer had been taken from Global Coatings, 700 S. 200 West, Pleasant Grove. The officers said that it could have been stolen or it might have been reloaded and sent out by mistake. The trailer disappeared in June but was reported on Dec. 14. Officers have arrested three male adults for driving under the influence in-fluence of alcohol in the past week. One incident was in Lindon and the other two in Pleasant Grove. The Pleasant Grove Recreation Dept. told police that the Community Com-munity Center had sustained damage - while the building was rented out for a private party. Officer Cody Cullimore said that a screen had been torn off a window and torn apart. Shower taps had been damaged where it appeared ap-peared to have been kicked and bent. Damage was listed at $100. The city will bill the rental party for the damages. The Lindon Boys Home had a youth referred to Juvenile Court on Dec. 10 on charges stemming from an assault by one youth on two other boys at the home. Officer Cullimore is investigating. Deseret Bank of Lindon reported a chain link gate was removed from its position on the bank's grounds. Nothing appeared to be missing and the gate was placed back by bank officials. They reported that there has been quite a bit of vandalism to the grounds at the bank. An adult male and an adult female were arrested on an open container violation on Dec. 15. Officer Wilson made the arrest. With the slick roads on Sunday and Monday officers gave assistance to many, drivers who had slid into ditches or off the roadways. The officers reported no serious accident nor injuries. |
