Show Invitation to bid: construction of N.E. Orem Junior High Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of the Alpine School District at its offic on 50 North Center Street, American Fork, Utah, up to 6:00 p.m., April 26, 1983, for the furnishing fur-nishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tran-sportation, and services for construction of the new Northeast Orem Junior High School located in Orem, Utah. The Owner reserves the right to award more than one contract on the proposal blanks will be on file in the offices of Swenson-Smith-Crane, ArchitectsEngineers, 175 West 200 South, Suite 2004, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84101, after April 5, 1983, where they may be consulted or secured for the purpose of bidding. Plans and specifications may be obtained upon deposit of $250.00 per set. Contractors Con-tractors shall be limited to two sets on deposit. Full refund will be made upon return of project. The successful bidder(s), to be known as the General Contractors), Con-tractors), shall have responsibility for proper execution of all work contracted by him. Proposals for related Owner furnished fur-nished items, designated by the bid package identification in these documents, will be received on or before 6:00 p.m., April 26, 1983. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the Alpine School District Board of Education Office, 50 North Center Street, American Fork, Utah, at 6:00 p.m., on April 26, 1983. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond of not less than five percent (5) of the amount of the bid drawn, payable to the order of the Board of Education of Alpine School District, shall accompany the bid. This check or bid bond of the accepted bidder shall be forfeited in case he fails or refuses to enter into the Contract Con-tract or furnish the 100 Performance Bond and 100 Material and Labor Payment Bond as required by the Owner. Instructions, drawings, drawi-ngs, specifications and said documents, in good condition, within seven calendar days after the bids are opened and if a bid is submitted. Deposit shall be forfeited for-feited if documents are retained beyond four calendar days prior to bidding and if a bid is not submitted. Additional Ad-ditional sets may be had for direct costs of printing. These requirements will be waived for current members of A.G.C. (Associated General Contractors). All bidders shall be prequalified. Prequali-fication Prequali-fication forms may be obtained at the office of the Architect. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of fifteen (15) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The School Board reserves the right to accept any or to reject any or all proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the School Board.
