Show Open house slated on 80th birthday celebration for Cosby H. Rogers ; The children of Cosby H. Rogers will help her celebrate her 80th j birthday Saturday, April 16, at an open house to he held at the Lindon 3rd Ward Church, 731 East Center, Lindon, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The family requests no gifts. Mrs. Rogers was born in Dougspur, Va., on April 13, 1903 to Aurthur Wilson and Jathina Elizabeth Huff. She married Raphael M. Rogers on March 3, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The Rogers children are: Mrs. Wanda (LeRoy M.) Hutchison, of Provo, Mrs. Jewell (Donald H.) Hutchison of Lindon and Mrs. Eula (Gale) McCandless of Lehi. Mrs. Rogers has 17 grandchildren, and 18 greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Rogers attended Dougspur City Public Schools. She is a member of the LDS Church and has held positions in all the auxiliaries. She has worked at the Provo Temple for nine years and retired from the . Utah State Training School. She enjoys any kind of sewing, needle work and quilting. |
