Show James Debenham receives Eagle award in Lindon Court of Honor t 1 .' 1 x :' j 'V' I :U V ' i James H. Debenham of Lindon was awarded the rank of Eagle, one of the highest awards in scouting on Dec. 20. The presentation was made at a ceremony held in the Lindon Fourth Ward. Jim's parents are Shirle A. and Lila M. Debenham. On the path to earning his Eagle, Jim earned 22 merit badges, the Pony Express Trail Award, the On Your Honor Award and he attained the level of Brotherhood in the Order of the Arrow. He is an avid sportsman enjoying camping, hiking, fishing and skiing. As a sophomore at Pleasant Grove High , this year he was a member of the undefeated sophomore football team. Being the youngest in a family of five children, his brothers are David (enrolled in the University of Utah Medical School) ; Douglas, a student at Dixie in St. George; Daniel, a resteraunteur in Salt Lake. His sister, Ann, is a cheerleader and Homecoming Queen at Pleasant Grove High School. For his Eagle project, Jim organized and provided the JAMKS DKBKNIIAM operational leadership for a Lindon Community Easter Egg . Hunt in which some several hundred children with parents attended. |
