All are I hereby invited to attend and to I participate in a Design Public Hearing on said project which will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 1983 in the Orem High School, Auditorium, 175 South 400 J East, Orem, Utah. The governing officials of Utah County and Orem City have been advised . , The location of the project is as follows: Beginning at Murdock Diversion Dam on U.S. Route 189 and ending at State Route 92 at Wildwood, the proposed alignment basically follows the existing alignment of U.S. Route 189, a distance of approximately 6 miles. The proposed construction would provide for an improved two-lane highway with passing lanes. Information to be presented at the hearing will include a discussion of the major design alternatives of the project, current schedules for right-of-way acquisition and for construction, con-struction, and an explanation of relocation re-location assistance programs. Appropriate illustrative materials, including illustrations, maps, and drawings will be available for inspection. in-spection. During the hearing, verbal andor written testimony pertaining to the design features of the proposed project will be received from all interested persons or groups. Any person or group unable to attend the public hearing, but wishing to give testimony pertinent to the aforementioned project, may do so in writing. This testimony., should be directed to the Utah Transportation Commission and mailed to the Utah Department of Transportation, 4501 South 2700 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84119, Attention: James E. Johnston, Community Involvement Officer. For inclusion in the official transcript tran-script of the public hearing proceedings, letters must be postmarked no later than midnight August 22, 1983. At any time during regular office hours, maps, drawings and other pertinent information developed by the Utah Department of Transportation Tran-sportation and written views received to date by the Department from any interested persons or groups will be available for public inspection and copying at Utah Department of Transportation, District No. 6 Headquarters, 825 North 900 West, Orem, Utah. ' This is the last public hearing planned for this project. After the proceedings of the public hearing are published and reviewed and the : design is selected, the Utah Department of Transportation will proceed with the preparation of the Plans, Specifications and Estimates.
