Show Review - Wednesday, July 6, 1983 - Page 7 Combined farewell and homecoming set Sunday for Brad Nelson and Sue Fullmer , k I " - ' A combined missionary farewell and homecoming will be held Sunday, July 19, for Brad Nelson and Sue Fullmer, at 10:50 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove Eighteenth Ward, 1250 E. 200 S. They are the son and daughter of Michael and Veneese Nelson. Sue has been called to serve in the Venezuela Maracaibo LDS Mission. She enters the MTC on July 14. Brad is returning from the Norway Oslo LDS Mission. Sue graduated from Pleasant Grove High Schcxl and LDS Seminary where she was active in choir, drama and Orchesis. She attended BYU. She graduated from Utah Technical College as a licensed practical nurse and has been working the past 15 months as director of nursing in a nursing home. Brad reports that there is steady growth in the church in Norway with about 100 people a year being baptized. The new Swedish Temple should stimulate growth in tho SUK FUIXMKK HKAI) NKLSON missionary work in Norway. Brad had the opportunity to serve as an assistant to President Wilford for five months and as a result got to travel throughout Norway. Homecoming service Sunday for Elder Kurt Ronald Myers Elder Kurt Ronald Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Floyd Myers, of American Fork, has recently returned from serving an honorable LDS Mission in the Alaska Anchorage Mission. While there Kurt served in Palmer, Seward, North Pole, Salsha and Anchorage 5th Ward. Kurt is the Grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Floyd Myers of Fremont, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Morton of American Fork and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo ' Joseph Ball of Lehi, Utah. Actually, it is the Bobcat pinning ceremony in the Manila Fourth ward. Elder Bryan Biggs called to serve in Ventura, California Mission Bryan was born June 19, 1964 in Provo. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in May, 1982. He played football and track. He was president of the high school band during his senior year. He enjoys pheasant hunting and training dogs. All of his friends and relatives are invited to his farewell. A missionary farewell will be held Sunday, July 10, for Elder Bryan Biggs at 1:15 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Seventh Ward, 1250 E. 200 S. At MARK A. FULTON Christmas in July' homemaking air scheduled in PI. Grove East Stake A Homemaking Fair will be held July 7 from 8 p.m. til 9:30 p.m. in the pleasant Grove East Stake Center, S25S. Loader, under the direction of lie Pleasant Grove East Stake Mef Society. The purpose of this event is to leach and motivate with demonstrations, displays, recource materials, involvement, samples aid patterns and decorations. The goal of the fair is to serve as a J unifying project to bring the women together in a common pupose to build pride and friendships. Using the theme "Christmas in July" the fair will be held on the night of the regular Relief Society Stake Meeting when all ward officers and teachers would be in attendance. However, the public is invited to attend. By exchanging ideas in July each ward will have the time to choose things that they wish to present in their organizations and have ample time to do so before Christmas in December. The stake will copy and assemble into booklet form all of the patterns, recipes, instructions, etc. and they will be available at the nominal fee of $1. Elder Mark Fulton to report on mission Elder Mark Andrew Fulton, son of Ross and Gretchen Fulton, will report on his recently completed LDS Mission on Sunday, July 10, at 1:15 p.m. in the Grove Ward, 400 E. 200 S., Pleasant Grove. Elder Fulton has served in the TaiwanCalifornia, San Jose Mission. A graduate of Pleasant Grove High School, Mark has graduated from Utah Technical College, Salt Lake, as an operating room technician. He was employed at Utah Valley Hospital prior to his mission. He was called to teach the Chinese in the California San Jose Mission where he served as District Leader. All friends and relatives of the missionary are invited to hear his report.
