Show Funeral Services Set for LeRoy W. Smith Saturday LeRoy Woodrow Smith, 67, 615 South Loader Avenue, Pleasant Plea-sant Grove, died Wednesday at the American Fork Hospital of a heart attack. at-tack. He was born Nov. 2, 1912 in Pleasant Grove, a son of Samuel Burton and LaRue Smith Smith. He married Willmetta Spaugy, May 18, 1938 in Orem. He was a member of St Marys Episcopal Church of Provo. He was an active member of El Kalah Shrine Temple of Salt Lake City Ci-ty and secretary of the Central Utah Shrine Club. He was a member of Damnascus Lodge No. 10 F&M of Utah. He was immediate Jr. past secretary of Eagles Lodge of Pleasant Plea-sant Grove. He had worked for 34 years for the federal government as an IRS agent, retiring Feb. 27, 1976. He is survived by his widow of Pleasant Grove, two sons and one daughter, Samuel Burton Smith, Las Vegas; Mrs. Fred (Mariana) Jensen, Denver; Claude LeRoy Smith, Eagar, Arizona; 12 grandchildren; his mother of Pleasant Grove; 3 brothers and 1 sister, Samuel H. Smith, Boise, Idaho; Daniel M. Smith, Salt Lake City; Dr. Edgar A. Smith, Denver, Colorado; Col-orado; Mrs. Rex (Evelyn) Larson, Lehi. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel in Pleasant Grove, where friends may call Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to Damascus Lodge No. 10 F&M, Master Otto Collins, 170 East Center, Springville, Utah. |
