I Darold Henry to be Inducted Into Jr. College Hall of Fame we might add the nickname "Tiger" was on his official nomina tion blank, and was not just made up by the Review writer. Darold D. 'Tiger' Henry has been inducted in-ducted into the National Na-tional Junior College Wrestling Hall of Fame, according to a letter received from Ronald C. Eastin, chairman, chair-man, publicity committee commit-tee for the Jr. College Hall of Fame. Darold will be inducted in-ducted publicly at the National Jr. College Wrestling tournament to be held in Wor-thington, Wor-thington, Minnesota, on Mar. 8. Darold attended and wrestled at Scottsbluff High School in Scottsbluff, Scotts-bluff, Neb. before attending atten-ding Lamar Jr. College in Colorado, where he wrestled, and had a record of 40-6. He was named All-American there in 1963-64, and was national champion. He was also named outstanding wrestler for NJCAA in 1964. He then wrestled for the Brigham Youne University and was WAC champion in 1965-66 and State AAU Champion in 1967. His record at Brigham Young University for the two years was approximately ap-proximately 56-10. He has been wrestling wrestl-ing coach at Pleasant Grove High for the past 12 years, and has had three championships and placed second with his teams 5 times. He has won eight regional championships and coached 18 state champion cham-pion wrestlers. He has also been selected to work as a referee in the NCAA Division One tournament tourna-ment for the past ten years and has been a college wrestling official of-ficial for ten years also. He co-hosted the two Japanese Cultural Exchange Ex-change teams to visit Utah. The Review congratulates con-gratulates Darold upon his achievement, and |
