Show Shamrock Nursery Opens in PI. Grove As winter storms give way to spring and summer sun Pleasant Grove welcomes its own nursery; Shamrock Nursery. Located on the Nor-thest Nor-thest corner of Main and State, Shamrock Nursery introduces a complete line of garden and landscape supplies, as well as professional services and advice. Owner, Bruce Cotton-Betteridge, Cotton-Betteridge, brings two years of experience in nurseries, garden shops and landscaping. Says Bruce, "My interest in-terest in gradening dates far beyond my career interests, even as a six year old boy in England, I recall getting get-ting very excited about-growing about-growing and caring for a garden." Five years experience as a nursery and orchard or-chard specialist qualified Terry Pulham, Shamrock's assistant manager, to be a great help to local gardeners. Terry is anxious to offer of-fer planting advice, and counsel a disease problems, prunning and landscaping. Shamrock Nursery stocks a complete line of fertilizers, seeds, fruit and shade trees, bedding bed-ding plants, (flowers, fruits, and vegetables,) shrubs, garden tools and books, sprinklers, insect sprays, houseplants, and landscaping lan-dscaping supplies. As a special service Shamrock Nursery will help in landscape planning. plan-ning. A photo of the yard or area to be landscaped lan-dscaped with the dimension of the yard may be brought to either Bruce or Terry for best results. Shamrock Nursery received its name because of Bruce's heritage in the British Isles. Having lived in Ireland for several years, as well as eleven years in England, Bruce feels that the name "Shamrock" represents the green, lush beauty of his homeland. Bruce his wife, Holly, and their three children now live in Orem. Says Bruce, "We're excited about the opportunity op-portunity to be of service ser-vice to Pleasant Grove gardeners and hope that they won't hesitate to come to us with their questions and needs."
