Smith, Brent Smith and Mark Ostler coaching the Vikings to the third spot. The hard hitting Eagles battld A.F. Colts in a rugged championship cham-pionship game Saturday Satur-day but fell to the undefeated A.F. Team 7-0. Late in the second period, A.F. moved to the Eagles six and on fourth down, Randy Doyle hit Travis Hanson Han-son just across the goal line for the games only touchdown. The PAT was good. P.G.'s Eagles roared back down the field and appeared to be in scoring scor-ing position when Jason Allred was forced out on the one. A holding call moved the ball back and the half ended 7-0 for the Colts. Both teams demonstrated tough second se-cond half defensive play. For the Eagles, Mikay Robinson, Tylon Campbell, Rod Max-ifield Max-ifield and Mario Ozuma were particalarly impressive. In a preliminary game, for third and fourth place in the seven team league, P.G.'s Vikings came from behind to win 19 to 12 over A.F.'s Redskins. Red-skins. With A.F. leading 6-0, P.G.'s Craig Hilton returend the second half kick-off 70 yards to score for the Vikings. Clark Hill passed to Chris Kitchen for the PAT and a one point Vikings lead. A.F. then marched right down the field with David Holland scoring making it 12-7 for the Redskins. Neither team scored until late in the fourth quarter when the Vikings Vik-ings started alast ditch drive with Kelly Sanderson and Tim Chambers carrying the ball. Chambers caught a 20 yard pass to put the Vikes on the nine yard line where Hill passed to Hilton, making the |
