Show Eagles Vikings, Each Win One Game Pat Jenkins and Kurt Harrison were Vikings standouts on defense while Campbel, Brian Story and Allred lead the wining Eagles into Saturdays champion ship game. The Eagles will be out to repeat as league champs when they meet A.F.s Colts at 11:30 a.m. While the Vikes play A.F.s Redskins Red-skins for third and fourth sports at 10 a.m. The Eagles and Vikings Vik-ings played each "other twice, with each team winning one in little league play. In Saturdays regular season game Clark Hill tossed three Touch Down passes to lead the vikings to a 19-7 win over the Eagles. Rick Beppu snagged two scoring passes from 25 and 45 yards and Tom Chambers caught one from 25 yards away for a touchdown. Beppu caught the extra ex-tra point pass to complete com-plete the Vike scoring. For the Eagles, Jason Allred carried the ball in for the T.D. and strong running Tylon Campbell bulled in for the point after. The Vikings win left both teams at 4-2 and forced a Tuesday playoff that saw the outcome reversed. Mickay Robinson put the Eagles ahead 7-0 with some hard running for a touchdown and PAT. As the half closed, Beppu made a great catch near the end line making it 7-6. A PAT pass fell short and rugged rug-ged defensive play by both teams made that the final score. RECEIVER Craig Swapp caughter all nine passes from Laga and both T.D strikes. Here Swapp makes a break on an out pattern. He caught this one, helping team move forward in losing game against A.F. |
