Show THURSDAY, JULY 20, 1978 PLEASANT GROVE REVIEW, PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH THURSDAY, JULY 20, 1978 I 53rd Reunion Held by Class The graduating class of 1925 held their 53rd class reunion at The Bungalow last Satur-day. Among others atten-ding was G. Roy Fugal of Woodmont, Conn., 1925 class president, who made the trip to join 30 other class members for the oc-casion. MR. AND MRS. PARLEY A. FORD Parley A. Ford's Plan 50th Anniversary Party ts of 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Parley A. Ford will honor their parents on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniver-sary. An open house will be held Saturday July 22nd from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Colyar, 194 North 600 West, Orem. Friends and relatives are in-vited. They request no gifts. The couple were married July 21, 1928 in Wasatch Co. and was solumnized later in the Salt Lake Temple. They have resided in Provo for the past 45 years. Mr. Ford was born in Wallsburg Sept. 15, 1902, a son of William and Eliza Ann Gurr Ford. He received his education in the Wasatch schools. After moving to Provo he worked for Provo City and Granite Furniture Co. He graduated from Utah Technical College in airplane sheet metal work. He was employed by Pittsburg Testing Laboratories in the construction of Geneva Steel Co., and worked on production for 25 years, retiring in Aug. of 1968. Mrs. Ford (Hilda) was born in Wallsburg on Nov. 2, 1909, a daughter of Willard and Elizabeth Boren Davis. She received her education in the Wasatch school. s During her childhood she lived a brief time in Springville. After moving to Provo she attended beauty college, later clerking in various Provo dept. stores. She attended Utah Technical College and graduated as a Licensed Pratical Nur-se, after which she was employed by Utah Valley Hospital and several Doctor's offices in the area. Both Mr. and Mrs. Ford have been active in church and in the senior citizens programs. The couple are the Parents of four children: Mrs. Vida (Lyman) Sevy, Pleasant Grove; William (Billy) Ford deceased; Neil A. Ford, Wallsburg; and Mrs. Larue(Dave) Colyar of Orem.
