There is a strong feeling of urgency within the council to get the county prepared to handle all types of emergencies. emergen-cies. The potentials for a disaster are too great and growing every day to be ignored. As one of the fastest growing counties in Utah, we must keep our emergency preparedness prepared-ness in step with our growth. It's time to take our emergency preparedness serious not for granted. The resources and abilities to take care of ourselves in times of emergencies or disasters are here. We need only to fully organize them and improve upon them. The council cannot do it alone, but it will take the interest of everyone in the county to achieve this goal. As our motto states: "If we fail to prepare. ..We prepare to fail. We cannot afford to fail. Our lives may depend upon it someday soon. |
