Show Manila Sets Meeting to Establish Area Council Property owners of the Manila area should attend a meeting at Pleasant Grove Jr. High School, Friday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. Three Planning Council members will be elected at this meeting. The Planning Council established under the Utah County Commission on March Mar-ch 25, 1977 will be an advisory ad-visory board to pre-screen property development in the unincorporated area of Utah County between Pleasant Grove and American Fork and as far North as the Highland Planning District. The East Boundary of the council is the Forest Service Boundary and the West boundary is the Training School Road and the South boundary is Highway 89. The purpose of the Planning Plan-ning Council is to provide local input for orderly growth, not to restrict development and the council will report to the Utah County Coun-ty Planning Commission. Property owners should be present to vote. Names will be placed in nomination at the meeting for: 1 three year member 1 two year member 1 one year member And, they will be elected at this meeting. Alan Doty of Manila is to chairman the meeting. Other members of the temporary committee are Merrill N. Warnick, Stanford (Tim) Ekins, and Jack Batchler and Elden Pack. |
