' - 'I li i WORK ON FILMING Danny Judd and John Pymm as-sisted Utah State PTA filing of spot announcements PTA Films Educational Spots Two students from Pleasant Grove High School assisted Utah State PTA with the professional filming of three "Alcohol Education Public Spot Announcements." Dan-ny Judd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira M. Judd, and John Pymm, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Howard Pymm, assisted with the electrical setups and the sound effects. The "Alcohol. Education Spots" will be aired on com-mercial and public television January 23, 1978 during State PTA's "Alcohol Awareness Week." Orval Fox from the Utah State School Board directed the filming and made the statement that the two boys were very supportive and their quality of work was excellent. . KJ4" v J DAVID LYNN HIATT Gets Eagle Badge Santa Claus Is Coming to Barnhart Home Santa Claus is coming to town! He's making his once a year trip to the old Barnhart Home in PL Grove. 165 South 200 East. He'll be there from 6:00 till 9:00 p.m. on Dec. 16. All kids will have a chance to sit on Santa's lap. Be sure to bring your letters and put them in Santa's box. There's a treat for all children. We'll see you there! Be there for Santa's arrival at 6:00 sharp. Frosty the Snowman will also be there. Si' y ' f ART STUDENTS Gay Lynn Tucker, Lisa Jenkins, Alton Hone, instructor and Mrs. Gayle Judd, PTA vice president, look over posters which assisted Utah Congress. Posters Are Made to Help State PTA the quality of the posters and the excellent help they received. Two students, GayLynn Tucker and Lisa Jenkins, from Mr. Alton Hone's art class are shown displaying posters prepared for Utah State PTA to be used as a leadership training tool. Pleasant Grove High School has assisted and supported State PTA in many worth-wliil- e projects. The State PTA was extremely pleased with Awarded Eagle Badge Recently David Lynn Hiatt of Troop 168 was awarded his Eagle badge recently. David, the son of Diane and Ray Lynn Hiatt Jr. is a mem-ber of the Pleasant Grove 8th ward. In addition to playing the piano he ties his own flies for fishing and builds models. For his Eagle project David collected aluminum cans to raise money to take two training school boys on a fishing trip. David acted as the leader and assigned three other scouts to participate in the trip to Soldier Creek Dam. One of the training school boys caught the biggest and the most fish. Tryouts Held for 'Barefoot in the Park' at PGHS Tryouts have been held for Pleasant Grove High Schools production of "Barefoot in the Park". Mr. Van Bulkley, drama director, has announ-ced the cast. The cast consists of Linda Ivie as Corie Bratter, John Harvey as Paul Bratter, John Pymm, Susan Sumner, Bobby Tevander and Kevin Shepherd play various charac-ters.
