Show AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AMEN-DING SECTION 6-3-2 OF THE CITY ORDINANCES OF PLEASANT GROVE CITY TO CHANGE THE DUE DATE FOR PAYMENT OF ANIMAL REGISTRATION REGISTRA-TION FEES FOR DOGS AND TO PROVIDE A TIME LIMIT FOR REGISTRATION REGISTRA-TION OF PUPS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLEASANT GROVE CITY AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 6-3-2 of City Ordinance Or-dinance of Pleasant Grove City is hereby amended to read as follows: ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE: It shall be unlawful for any person per-son to own, keep or harbor a dog without making application ap-plication to the Dog Tax Collector for that purpose, and paying to the City an annual an-nual registration fee of eight dollars ($8.00) for a female dog and four dollars ($4.00) for a male dog. The annual registration fee for a spayed female dog shall be the same as for a male dog. The annual registration fee shall be paid on or before the last day of February of each year. In addition ad-dition to said registration fee, there shall be collected a penalty fee of five dollars ($5.00) for failure to pay the registration fee by the due date. The penalty fee shall not apply to the registration after the due date of animals acquired or brought into the City after said date. All dogs shall be licensed at time of weaning, but no later than two months after birth. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its passage and twenty (20) days after its publication or posting.
