Show Timp Cave Lists New Fall Opening Schedule a M . lull scln'ciulf will begin at Timpanogos Cave National Monument beginning the day after Labor Day, Superintendent Superin-tendent Sherma E. Bierhaus announces. The first two weekends following Sept 2, tickets for tours may be purchased at the Visitor Center between 8:oo a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Weekdays and all subsequent weekends until October 26, tickets may be purchased from K:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Heginning October 27 and continuing until snow closes the trail lor the winter, tickets will be available from 9:00 a.m. to :',:()( p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for cave tours cost 50 cents for persons 16 years of age and over. Children under 16 years of age are admitted free hut must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Advance reservations are required for any group numbering num-bering more than 10 people and can be made by calling (801) 785-4497 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Sponsors of groups of children under 16 years of age must plan to have a ratio of at least one adult per ten children. Comfortable walking shoes and a light sweater or jacket are advisable for the Ha mile trail and cave tour. |
