Several cities he had contacted were not paying the assessment this year. Douglas Johason said Lindon City does benefit from this fund. Wayne Peay moved lhat upon further investigation and study lhat Douglas Johason do whatever he feels is in the best interest of the city. Motion was seconded and passed. Councilman Wayne Johnson suggested Harold Krickson contact the attorney to en-courage him to complete the ordinance lor 1 and 2 zone immediately and that this request have a 30 day con-clusion date. Councilman Douglas Johnson reported R. Lynn Hansen had a death in the family and that he had taken his three days funeral leave recently granted by the city council to cover emergencies such as this. Douglas Johnson clarified lhat the retirement pay is 9percent of the base pay of a 40 hour work week. After some discussion regarding the extra hours worked by city employees and the present method of ending pay periods and issuing pay checks Douglas Johnson moved that the city adopt a policy of ending pay periods on the 1st and 15th day of the months and checks be issued two days later and extra pay if any, be in-cluded in the last pay day of the month. Motion was seconded by Councilman Fryer and passed. Due to the numerous problems in regards to dogs throughout the city the question arose again in regards to an Animal Control officer. Mr. Frampton said he would take care of this as soon as possible. Douglas Johnson reported that a "Fun Night" had been scheduled for Aug. 28 in lieu of the city fair. A $500 colt is to be given away to someone in the Youth Riding Club who has been exceptional in interest and participation. PERRY Colette Larsen, Don Perry to Wed in Salt Lake Temple Mr. and Mrs. Alva T. Larsen of Pleasant Grove are happy to announce the forth coming marriage of their daughter, Colette Larsen to Don Benton Perry son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Perry of Mapleton the couple w ill be married September 5th in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A garden reception will be given in their honor that evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the 5' home of Errol W. Robbins 230 South 1st West in Pleasant Grove. The bride to-b- e graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. She graduated from Snow College where she was a member of Lamba Delta Sigma and graduated from LDS Institute. She has presently been teaching preschool in American Fork. Mr. Perry is a graduate from Springville High School anc LDS Seminary. He graduated from Snow College and LDS Institule. He filled a mission to the California Central Mission. Attending the bride as Matron of honor will be Pauline Linderman. Bridesmaids will be Camille Larsen, Colenda Larsen, Annette Robbins and Jean Sykes. Acting as flower girls will be Earlynn Perry and Sandra Hanks. Serving as best man will be Steven Perry. Ushers will be Terry Larsen and Tracy Larsen. Also assisting will be Troy Larsen. Pre-nupti- showers were given by Jean Sykes and Pauline Linderman, LeAnn Rowley and Betty Karr. After the marriage the couple w ill continue their education at Utah State , residing in Logan. All friends and relatives are invited to the reception. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell C. Johnson of Algonquin, Illinois. The Officers Club at Camp Williams is the setting for the September Sixth wedding and informal party hosting the newly-wed- Attending the bride will be Connie Peay, Polly and Peggy Nelson. Assisting the groom will be, Gordon Johnson, Jr., Larry Welling, Kelly Nelson and Brian Engh. Miss Nelson is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and Seminary program. She has attended Utah State University. Mr. Johnson attended schools in Illinois and Minnasota and Utah State University. He is presently employed in Barrington Hills, Illinois. The couple will make their home in Glenview, Illinois. MONTE C. CONDER AND SHARON MORFORD Sharon Morford Sets Date For Rites with Monte Conder Mr. and Mrs. Roland Morford are happy to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Sharon to Monte C. Conder son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Conder of American Fork. The marriage will take place at the Provo Temple Friday, September 12. A reception honoring the couple will be held the same evening at the Pleasant Grove Stake Center. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Attending the bride will be her sister Karen M. Chipman, Lorna Pace, Marilyn Taylor, Sue Hilton and Cindy Lind-- slrom. Attending the groom as best man will be his brother, Vern Conder. Sharon is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and 4 year seminary. She at-tended Ricks College in Idaho and is presently a nursing student at Utah Techicinal College in Provo. Monte is a graduate of LDS seminary program and American Fork High School where he was active in sports. He attended Snow College prior to serving in the Cumorah LDS Mission.
