Show Funeral Rites Held For LaRue Prior Impressive funeral services were held December 19 for La-Rue La-Rue Boyack Prior who died on December 15. The services were held in the Lehi First-Sixth-Thirteenth Ward Chapel with Bishop Sherwin Allred officiating. offi-ciating. The prelude and post-lude post-lude music was played by Helen Newman and the prayer with the family was offered by President Presi-dent Virgil H. Peterson. B.J. Lott spoke the invocation. Musical Musi-cal selections were sung by Ver-a Ver-a Trane and Ann Bushman. They were accompanied by Eva Carson. They sang "Look Up to Him" and as a concluding number "Goin Home". Bishop Sherwin Allred remarked on the wonderful life of Mrs. Prior and his friendship for the family. The biographical sketch was read by Verland Beck. Speakers who eulogized Mrs. Prior for qualities of service, friendship, and her role as a wife and mother were Bishop Robert Webb and President Dean T. Worlton. The closing prayer was offered by Bishop Leland G. Price and the dedication of the grave was spoken by Bishop Ward Webb. Serving as pallbearers were Allan Nielsen, Ronald Boyack, Mark Boyack, Roy Lundell, Kenneth Bills and Gene Prior. The many beautiful flowers were cared for and arranged by Lehi Sixth Ward Relief Society. Interment was in the Lehi City Cemetery. |
