For information, contact Karma Fryer, Marion Fryer, or Colleen Walker. Lindon's Royalty will be honored hon-ored in the parade. King is Steven Swenson, Queen Ruth Fidler, Sir Lindon is Cyler Campbell and Lady Lindon is Laura Lee Swenson. For all who desire the arts and crafts, a tremendous opportunity op-portunity is available to join Ready, Set, Go. All committees commit-tees for the Fair are ready and waiting and all they need is you. Everyone is invited to join the fun at the Lindon Fair at Lindon City Park, Saturday, Sat-urday, Aug. 17. The parade will start off the big day with miniature floats sponsored by business men and Lindon Wards. Everyone who is interested is welcome to join. Neighborhood floats and kids with decorated bikes are encouraged to enter. this exhibit. All items must be in before 9 a.m. and you can contact Mrs. Tom Spencer for further information. Flower show items must also al-so be in before 9:30. Jr. and Senior division will be available avail-able for entries. The show is to be held under the pavilion and you can contact Mrs. Ken Gillman for further information, informa-tion, j Sewing baking division of the fair will be held in the j Lions Building. All items must j be brought in by 9:30 a.m. and the building will be open from 8 a.m. or the night before from 7 to 8 p.m. First, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons rib-bons and trophies will be a-warded. a-warded. For information on the sewing and baging division, contact Betty Clark or Lorna j Walker. A special "Kids Play Night" j will be under the direction of George Hardman. There will be barrel races pole bending keyhole, western pleasure, musical mu-sical chairs and a greased pig chase. This play night will start at 6 p.m. and you must register before 5:30 p.m. The horse show is well organized, or-ganized, under the direction of Bill Keetch, Wayne Johnson, Pat Birrell, James Sorensen and Paul Swenson. All pets may be entered. However, they must be encaged or on a lease, or properly secured and accompanied accom-panied by owner. Judging will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Pets must be there by 8 a.m. Judging will be on the largest, smallest, most unusual, un-usual, care and keeping, general gen-eral condition, and pure breed. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded. For information you may call Cline Campbell, or Gordon Taylor. Also throughout the day to keep the ball rolling and fun for all the kids, games are being be-ing planned, such as watermelon water-melon race, rabbit money chase and pie eating contest, etc. Concessions will be under the direction of the Lions Club with Ray Green and J Var Gill-man Gill-man as chairmen. Plans are all well underway to make this a fun and exciting day for young and old alike. A real "Modern and Old Fashioned" Fair Day, "The Biggest Little Fair," the Lin-don Lin-don Fair, invites all of Utah County to join them.
