Show INSPECTION Mrs. Colleen Walker and Lindon Police Officer Of-ficer Tom Sutch look over bikes belonging to Elaine Hutchison Hutch-ison and Michael Fryer. Inspection is for children's safety. Bicycle Inspection Time Again for Lindon School Bicycle inspection time has rolled around again for all the kids in Lindon. It is time they make sure their bikes are safe. According to PTA officers, and the Lindon City police they can be sure their bikes are safe by checking the brakes, getting reflectors on them, making ma-king sure they have a horn or a bell to indicate to anyone who is in the way that they are coming towards them, and that they should get out of the way. In Lindon the local police force is coming to the school to tell the students about bicycle bi-cycle safety, and what they can do to eliminate the bicycle accidents ac-cidents that occur to children who do not know the bicycle safety rules. Also, while at the school, the police will inspect bicycles to check for any unsafe conditions If students can remember the safety rules, they can be more certain they will be safe while riding their bicycles. Here are some of the rules to remember: Inspect the tires, make sure there are lights on the bikes, and make sure a license is on the bicycle. Children in Lindon will have fewer accidents if they obey the bicycle safety rules and keep their bicycles in good condition. by Deanna Sorenson |
