Show Pleasant Grove Garden Club Accepts Five New Members The Pleasant Grove Garden Club held their October meeting meet-ing at the home of Mrs. Eugene Eug-ene Atkinson in Manila last Thursday. Five new members were accepted ac-cepted into the club. They are Priscilla Minsin, Judy Jones, Sharon Newman, Joyce Dur-rant Dur-rant and Julia Zorn. President Cluadia Brown asked ask-ed each member and guests to say a little about themselves as a way of introduction for the benefit of new members to the Garden Club. Plans are going forward for a Christmas party with partners, part-ners, ot. December 12 at the Orem Reception Centre. The club members had an interesting "show and tell" exchange of Christmas ideas. Mrs. Mae Jensen demonstrated demonstra-ted the making of Divinity candy. Suggestions were given on "Sharing Happiness at Chist-mas" Chist-mas" the theme for the November Nov-ember meeting to be held at the home of Mrs. Evelyn Schoonover. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess to guests Mae Jensen, and Irene Jobs and the following club members: mem-bers: Maxine Smith, Virginia Bonham, Priscilla Minsin, Judy Jones, Lucille Hillman, Claudia Brown, Sharon Newman, Mary Shoell, Olga Carling, Velma Gilman, Mary McCormick, Eva Reynolds, Alice Simper, Alice Adamson, Joyce Durrant, Lill-ian Lill-ian Huish and Edna Atkinson. |
