Show Timpanogos Stake Basketball Gets Underway Nov. 2 Basketball season gets underway un-derway November 2 in Timpanogos Timp-anogos Stake with games being be-ing played in the M-Men-Sen-ior league. The Explorer and Venturer leagues will begin November 17 and 18. Most ofthe M-Men Senior league and the Explorer league . will be played in the Stake House on Thursday and Friday evenings and the Venutrer league games will be played in the Third-Sixth Ward Cultural Cul-tural Hall on Saturday evenings. even-ings. According to Stephen L. Warnick, stake athletic director, direc-tor, Ervin Pack and Douglas Robinson, assistant stake athletic ath-letic directors will supervise two of the leagues. Champions and sportsmanship sportsman-ship winners will be determined determin-ed in each league. A fine season seas-on with strong competition and good fellowship i anticipated antici-pated for all participants. Ward members are urged to suport their teams. The schedule for November 2 is as folows: 6:00 3rd Senior vs 2nd Senior. 7:10 4th M-Men vs Manila Man-ila 2nd Senior. 8:20 4th Senior vs 3rd M-Men. 9:30 Manila M-Men vs 2nd M-Men. 6th Senior team buys. |
