Show Funeral Services for Edith W. Anderson Held November 2 Funeral services were held last Thursday, Nov. 2, for Edith Wilson Anderson, 74, who died Oct. 30, at her home after a lingering illness. The services were under the direction of Bishop Doyle B. Young of the Fifth Ward, and were held at 1 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Stake House. Speaker at the services was Judge David J. Wilson. Bishop Young also gave remarks, and a life sketch was given by Patricia Pat-ricia A. Wilkens. Musical numbers were sung by the Mendelssohn Chorus, under the direction of Elvis B. Terry, with Sheree T. Balser as accompanist. Vocal solos were also hung by Colleen Winger, accompanie by Mrs. Balser and by William E. Petersen, accompanied ac-companied by Nora Larsen. Prelude and postlude was played by Susan Jensen. Family prayer was given by Dr. J. Paul Anderson, invocation invoca-tion by Dr. Wayne B. Hales, and benediction by Robert James. The grave, in the Provo City Cemetery, was dedicated by Dr. Grant W. Anderson. Pallbearers were Eugene and Alec Wilkens, Samuel, Anders, Grant, James and Robert Sor-enson. |
