Show . rr i S ' X 1 KV x V x - If WESLEY KEITH GORDON AND CHERYL WATSON Cheryl Watson and Wesley Keith Gordon Exchange Marriage Vows Last Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Arthur T. Watson Wat-son of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Yvonne Langton of Chula Vista, Vis-ta, California announce the marriage of their daughter Cheryl Dianford Stanford Watson Wat-son and Wesley Keith Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley J. Gordon of Lehi, Saturday, Nov. 4. A wedding supper was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at the Rodeway Inn that evening. An open house will be held for the young couple at the home of her parents at 540 So. Main in Pleasant Grove from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10. All friends and relatives are invited. in-vited. No announcements are being sent. The new Mrs. Gordon is a 1972 graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School and a four-year four-year seminary graduate. She , was an honor Thespian in high school, having been very active in drama there as well as in community plays. She is a national na-tional honor student and a Sterling Scholar in languages. She is the 1971-72 Jr. Miss for Pleasant Grove, and competed in the state pageant. She has been attending BYU on a scholarship and grant. Mr. Gordon graduated from Lehi High School where he was a member of the Thespians Thesp-ians and the National Forensic League, winning best speaker award at the state meet. He was secretary-treasurer of the FFA. He is a member of National Na-tional Honor Society. He obtained ob-tained his pilot's license while still a sophomore in high school Mr. Gordon is currently at home on leave from the U.S. Army. He completed his basic , training at Fort Polk, Louisiana where he was leader of his platoon. He will now go to Fort Walter, Texas, where he will attend Warrant Officers candidate can-didate school, then to Fort Ruckers, Ala to Helicopter School. As soon as he is settled at Fort Walters, his wife will join him, and they will make their home in that area. |
