LANDSCAPING Garden Club members Velma Gillman, Lucille Hillman, Maxine West, Evelyn Schoonover, Mary Shoell, Alice Simper, Lillian Huish and Claudia Brown are helping landscape at Kiwanis Park near the mouth of Battle Creek. Project is underway. Garden Club Finishes Fall Planting of Iris at Park Will Resume Beautificafion Project Next Spring Members of the Pleasant Grove Garden Club met at the Kiwanis Club Picnic Park to finish their fall planting of iris. They will continue in the spring p.m., Samuel D. Green, designer design-er & printer of the Garden Reporter Re-porter of the Utah Associated Garden Clubs and expert photographer, pho-tographer, will be a guest of the Pleasant Grove Garden Club. He will show beautiful colored slides of gardens and flowers. Light refreshments will be served. The theme of the evening will be "Garden Therapy" under un-der the direction of Maxine Smith and Alice Simper. Garden Club members extend ex-tend an invitation to the public pub-lic to attend. The meeting will be held at the Jaycee Club House, west of the highway by the rodeo grounds. with the landscaping project there. Club members then took a fall tour under the direction of Mary Shoell, tour chairman of the club, up Provo Canyon and on to the Hope Picnic area. They enjoyed the colorful fall scenery abounding on all sides. Although the ground was covered cov-ered with several inches of snow from the recent snowfall, snow-fall, they had a delicious picnic lunch in the mountains.
