Show Funeral Services Set Friday for Clifton H. Harper Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Timpanogos Tim-panogos Stake House for Chiton Chi-ton H. Harper, 81, who died Tuesday morning in a Provo hospital of natural causes. Friends may call Thursday evening at Olpin Family Mortuary, Mor-tuary, 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church prior to services. Mr. Harper was bora Dec. 9, 1888 in Pleasant Grove, a son of Charles B. and Harriet Gibbons Gib-bons Harper. He married Emma Em-ma J. Hunger in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a fruit farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Grove Ward, where he was a High Priest at the time of his death. He had served in various capacities in the LDS church, including the superintendency of the Sunday School, the MIA and as group secretary of his High Priests quorum. He was a former member of the PI. Grove Riding Club. He is survived by his widow, five sons and two daughters, Gale, Charles, Boyd, Max and Darrell, all of Pleasant Grove Mrs. Arvil S. (Cora) Anderson of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Harold (Rose) Baird, Kearns. 25 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren also survive. |
