Inversion Leaves Area, Snow Now. Falling in Utah The light snow storm which fell last Sunday morning was brought in by a south wind, chased away the smog and inverted in-verted the inversion. The welcome wel-come white flakes carried in a little moisture just one fiftieth of an inch, to be exact. Anyway, it was refreshing to see the sky nice and blue again following too many days of smog. When the sun finally broke through, the rays made short work of the snow, except ex-cept on the "north side." The way things are shaping up it could be a white Christmas Christ-mas this time around. Snow began falling late Monday Mon-day night and at daylight Tuesday Tues-day morning there was a good two-inches on the ground. Outside Out-side it was 34 degrees and the barometer was low at 29.90. Periods of snow and then partial clearing was the forecast fore-cast for several days. For the winter sports, buffs, it was a good outlook.
