ARCHIE DENE DAVIS (Connie Lu Stanford) Connie Stanford, Archie Dene Davis Married Tuesday, Reception Friday Mrs. Frances Yvonne Just-ese- n announces the marriage of her daughter, Connie Lu Stanford to Archie Dene Dav-is, son of Mrs. Bessie Kuyken-dal- l, of Pleasant Grove. The marriage was solemn-ized Tuesday, Dec. 24, with Bishop Lloyd J. Walker offic-iating. A reception will be held for the young couple Friday, Dec. 27, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the home of her grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur T. Watson of Pleasant Grove. Miss Stanford is a senior and will graduate from high school in the spring. Mr. Davis graduated from Pleasant Grove High School, in 1967, and is presently em-ployed by SME Fractionators. The young couple will make their home in Pleasant Grove. Mountain Fuel Supply Co. Warns Citizens Mountain Fuel Supply Co. has not authorized the use e its name by any private in-dividual or company in mak-ing household inspections of gas furnaces or appliances, according to J. T. Simon, sen-ior vice president, operations. Mr. Simon said the Com-pany had received reports in-dicating that representations are being made to homeown-ers by certain unauthorized individuals that they are rep-resenting Mountain Fuel and are making inspections of gas furnaces and appliances. "We urge homeowners to ask for identification from any person who claims to rep-resent Mountain Fuel," Mr. Simon said. "Our employees carry proper credentials and can quickly and properly iden-tify themselves. Should anyone have a question about the identity of an individual claiming to rep-resent Mountain Fuel, we sug-gest a call be made to our nearest office for verification. We are anxious to provide whatever assistance we can to prevent fraudulent activity by unscrupulous persons posing to be our representatives." j Dean W. Former Resident Undergoes Surgery in Denver Friends and relatives of Owen D. West may be pleas-ed to learn of his satisfac-tory progress, following ma-jor surgery in a Denver, Colo, hospital. He should be home convalescing in time for Christmas. Owen is a former studentbody president at the Pleasant Grove High School, and he presently serves on the stake high council and is branch manager in Denver for Trans ame ric a Ins. He married the former Eva Stice from American Fork. Mrs. West's mother, Mrs. Alice Stice is 91 years of age and is presently a resident in the Pleasant Grove Conval-escent home.
